Join our clients team as a Second Line Support Technician in Walsall. If youre skilled in technical support, problem:solving, and have excellent communication, we want to hear from you.
This job is shift based: 7am:3pm, 8am:4pm, 9am:5pm and occasionally 10am:6pm. Occasional weekends will also be required.
Responsibilities
Provide second line support for all our clients technology systems.
Support colleagues with hardware, software, and IT queries.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve incidents within SLAs.
Release changes to the estate and onboard new solutions.
Collaborate with third parties for new store openings and system support.
Monitor system jobs, respond to alerts, and complete root cause analysis.
Offer suggestions for improving support services.
Install, remove, and record movement of technology equipment.
Requirements
3+ years experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL, .Net, Microsoft Windows, and Office 365.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ITIL understanding.
Excellent documentation skills and IT security awareness.
Flexible working hours and occasional travel may be required.
