Ballpark is our answer to making research faster, easier and more accessible. The majority of people conducting research in companies aren't researchers - so let's create a platform that meets them where they are.


We want to create the 'Canva of research' and create a research platform that is visual, real-time and filled with pre-made templates and tasks so that every team can get deeper insights that leads to better products.


Since our beta launch 18 months ago we've added tons of new Enterprise customers like Monzo, Vodafone and FEVO.


Last June, we raised a seed round from InReach, Haatch, Caffeinated Capital and Bungalow VC who have invested in amazing companies such as Notion, Soldo and Airtable.


What we're looking for


We're looking for an entrepreneurial marketing leader, someone who thrives at our stage and is comfortable being the first and only marketing team member on a journey to help us understand how we create predictable revenue.


It's a super exciting role and gives you the opportunity to put many of your skills to the test and build a repeatable and predictable marketing machine from the ground up. If you're successful, you'll then be tasked with growing the team demonstrating further success with each hire.


We're in a space that is quite frankly, a bit dull. Everyone else looks and sounds the same - it's a chance to stand out in the same way our product does.


The ideal profile


You might be ready for a step up or have gone from Seed to Series A or B before and want that challenge again. Either way here are the things we think are a great fit for the role:


  • Product marketing background in b2b SaaS - (3-4 years experience as a product marketing person and able to demonstrate packaging and messaging execution)
  • Someone who understands and can experiment on the wide spectrum of marketing channels (ads, content etc) and strategies until we find what is right for us.
  • Some experience in lead generation and able to demonstrate how you built a lead generation engine across multiple channels (webinars, content marketing, Linkedin etc)
  • You know what good copy looks like - We believe good copy writing is fundamental to our positioning and brand. We don't expect to write tons of content but being able to craft words to tell our story in the most impactful way possible is critical.
  • Can work quickly and get things done yourself - You remove bottlenecks rather than create them. You can drive things forward through sheer will and excitement.
  • Can quickly work toward marketing contributing 30%+ to our qualified pipe and closed won business


This isn't a fit if you...


  • Want to focus solely on building a team or just focus on strategy - This is super hands on and get-stuff-done. type of role. The success of the marketing arm of the business relies on you running experiments, launches and moving the needle.
