ROLE OVERVIEW:


The opportunity exists for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Staging and Operations Manager to join the 54 team, to support the execution of the company’s international portfolio of professional golf events. Initially focused on the Aramco Team Series, and the LIV Golf International Team Series, the candidate will be responsible for a variety of aspects within the Staging and Operations team, consistency of delivery, supporting all pillars of the 54 Events department, including guest services, marketing communications, partnerships, and finance.


The desired candidate should have event experience and possess an understanding of the professional golf event ecosystem, have strong personal motivation, be comfortable working supervised and unsupervised, and expect long event hours. The candidate should enjoy traveling and be comfortable spending time away from home to both build and deliver world-class golf events. The candidate should be able to work together in a team, supporting all roles within the staging and operations team. A knowledge of event components including supply chain, operations, logistics, structures and scheduling is required.


A keen eye for detail, the ability to work under tight deadlines and excellent communication skills are essential.

Tasked with planning and execution of essential aspects of the event and supported by the 54 directors, the candidate must be comfortable executing a variety of tasks.



KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and support team members to plan and execute activities related to the build and delivery of an International Golf Event.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of line reports and provide support and guidance at all times.
  • Manage the site build and ensure the planning and staffing is appropriate.
  • Create and review key planning documents to ensure a successful event delivery.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress and share status reports to senior management.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Manage event suppliers and ensure their services are delivered in accordance with site health and safety regulations and as per their scope of works.


Staging:


Manage the planning and delivery of all key Staging elements of an event, including but not limited to:

  • Structure, TV, AV & Pyro delivery
  • Power & HVAC delivery
  • On course and structural branding
  • Directional signage
  • Vendor site orientations
  • Cabins & site offices
  • Toilets
  • Furniture
  • Build & De-Rig of the site, in conjunction with key suppliers
  • Inventory Management
  • Site Mapping
  • Landscaping


Operations

Manage the planning and delivery of all key Operational elements of an event, including but not limited to:

  • Security
  • Cleaners
  • Traffic Management
  • Golf Operations or equivalent based on the relevant sport
  • ADA Planning
  • Medical Services
  • Staff and laundry Services
  • Golf Carts/Vehicles
  • Radios & Communications
  • Office Supplies
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Volunteers
