The Asprey Group have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Assistant Accountant. Working closely with colleagues across the Finance function the Assistant Accountant is responsible for ensuring reporting is accurate, timely, complete, and fit for purpose; making improvements to processes to drive and assist business performance where necessary.
Main Responsibilities
Group sales reconciliation and sales/margin reporting and analysis (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & annually) including ensuring complete data in SAP B1 from retail systems
Monthly journal postings (incl. Accruals, prepayments, inter company etc.) and preparation of related analytics
Preparation of margin analysis by department and liaison with key business areas to ensure consistency with expectations; review, report and ensure authorisation compliance
Bank reconciliation/AP/AR reconciliation and accurate postings
AP/AR Aging analysis periodically
Perform monthly integrity checks to ensure the GL and the AP, AR and fixed asset sub-modules are reconciled to each other

High level attention to detail and accuracy, numerate, multitasking, strong communication skills, organised, able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Training
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified/Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
MS Office with proven advanced Excel skills
Experience using SAP B1 would be an advantage
Preferably 3 years' experience in a similar role
