The Role
Social and content has never been more important for clients. Showing up authentically, with intention, across social platforms helps brands connect with their audiences. It helps them to sell and serve better.
This role provides the opportunity to work on two really exciting clients in our portfolio. You will have the opportunity to support with ongoing social media activity for our clients across the year that will involve working with our design, creative, community management and production team to deliver best in class content.
This role is perfect for someone that has a passion for managing story telling content, and the desire to build on their skills and experience in delivering social campaigns that get our audiences excited and wanting to find out more.
Most of the work is published across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Strava, although a good understanding of the main social channels would be an advantage. For the most part the content will be focused on a UK audience although we also provide Community management and publish content across other European markets.
You’ll work with an Account Director and Account Executive to not only deliver content but ensure it is performing and effective on an on-going basis; leaning into our research and data team
Key Responsibilities
Build and Create productive client relationships with junior and mid-level clients throughout the delivery of projects, clearly communicating and managing expectations throughout
Proactively consider how actions will affect clients; responding quickly to meet clients needs, resolves problems; avoids over-commitment
Understand the importance of account ‘admin’- issuing contact reports
Providing administrative support, including status reports, meeting scheduling, budget tracking, competitor reviews etc.
Comfortably take responsibility for successful delivery of the projects assigned to you, with supervision
Understand what decisions are within your remit, and what is not, and engage others accordingly to ensure that those who are accountable can assist and guide as needed
Identify potential project risks and developing contingency plans
Managing small projects and supporting more senior colleagues on larger projects
Working to anticipate upcoming needs and hurdles and providing ideas to mitigate
Staying on top of your projects and their finance, including recognising scope change, and knowing when to escalate
Recognise when to escalate issues which have commercial implications, and how to manage these situations with your partners
Requirements
We are flexible on whether you have come from an agency of client background, but we think the following are really important for this role:
Organised and efficient; you’ll need to ensure the accounts are managed with the right resource at the right time
Whilst you may not have experience of working in an agency, you’ll make up for this by showing your passion for social media, content and a passion to get involved with innovative campaigns for our clients
You’ll be someone that loves to get stuck into a task, and collaborate with the client and agency teams, and make stuff happen!
