    WARC, the global authority on advertising and media effectiveness

    The WARC Awards are an annual international case-study competition in search of the smartest campaigns that best use emerging marketing disciplines. As Jury Chair I'll be looking for campaigns with high levels of Innovation, disruption and effectiveness, and ensure the jury push themselves to ensure not only are we awarding great ideas, but ideas that also grow business and deliver results.

  • Jury member - Cannes Lions - Creative E-commerce

    Cannes Lions

    Described as 'The Oscars of the Ad industry', the Lion Awards set the global benchmark for creative excellence. Winners achieve recognition on a global scale, but also new business opportunities. In 2018 Cannes introduced a new category, Creative E-commerce and as one of an 8 person jury, had the honour see over 150 entries and award 5 Gold, 4 Silver and 7 Bronze Lions and a much deserved Grand Prix to Xbox.

  • Jury Chair - Euro Effies awards

    European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA)

    The Euro Effies started in 1996 as the first pan-European advertising awards that were judged on the basis of effectiveness. The Effie has grown to become a symbol of marketing communications effectiveness around the globe. As Jury Chair I was responsible for ensuring the jury fairly and consistently judged over 300 entries as well as present all the awards to the winners.

  • Snickers "You're Not You When You're Hungry": 6x Cannes Lions, 1x IPA gold, 6x Effies & 1x AME Award.

    Over 3 years Snickers’ "You’re not you when you’re hungry" won over 130 awards. This included Cannes Lions, The One Show, D&AD and the Emmys and scooped every major effectiveness award, including Effectiveness Lions, an IPA gold, and global and local Effies and AME Awards. In 2013 it was one of the most awarded and globally recognised campaigns of all time.

  • Axe “Call Me” 2008: Two Silver Effie’s and a AME Bronze award for best integrated marketing campaign

    A fully integrated campaign to take advantage of the high penetration of mobile phones in Indonesia, bridging the on and offline world, using a series of phone numbers that unlocked promotions, hidden in the countries main urban centres.

  • Axe “Wake Up Service”: Silver and Bronze Effie.

    Launching a new brand and a new category, the launch of Axe Japan was no small challenge. To establish a daily bodyspray routine the team launched Axe "Wake Up Service" and scooped several local and international awards and being recognised as Japan’s most Trendy Product launch of 2007.

  • Lynx "Billions" Spray More Get More Campaign: Cannes Lions Shortlist

    Shortlisted for several awards and part of a "Spray More Get More" Trilogy that helped to drive consumption of the Lynx bodyspray business. This ad aired only once, but was seen online by over 14m people. It was also famously parodied the following year by Specsavers
