The Claritas Investment Certificate is a new global self-study education program and exam designed to give anyone working in financial services a clear understanding of the investment industry and their professional responsibilities within it. I am responsible for developing the PR strategy for this new educational product. The 66th CFA Institute Annual Conference drew more than 1300 delegates from 58 countries to Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore for four days of sessions that examined market trends, uncovered new investment opportunities, and delivered practical investment advice. The 66th CFA Institute Annual Conference drew more than 1300 delegates from 58 countries to Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore for four days of sessions that examined market trends, uncovered new investment opportunities, and delivered practical investment advice. I was responsible for PR and social media strategy planning for the conference. I managed the PR agency in Singapore, and worked closely with other teams within the organization; developed storyline and market snapshot reports; built media interest towards the conference; secured seasoned journalist as moderator; managed media activities onsite; and supported social media promotion and engagement. Over 60 journalists from global and local media outlets attended and were impressed by the conference, including Bloomberg, CNBC, Pensions & Investments, Investment & Pensions Asia, Asia Asset Management, South China Morning Post, ChannelNews Asia, Strait Times, China Central Television, DowJones, Financial Times, Thomson Reuters, BBC, Citywire, e-fundresearch.com, and others. More than 30 interviews were arranged, including live Bloomberg TV and CNBC interviews with CEO and executives. As a result, over 160 pieces of media coverage were generated globally, including 11 broadcast stories. Show less
