… which is what was happening with my husband. Our first step was in him learning about both the positive & negative traits to understand how a Strength can play out as a weakness when it is no longer an energy asset for self and others, & then to work to balance the needs and contributions of this “Strength” by becoming conscious of the impact on both self & others, what I term “Interdependent Rules of Engagement”. Imagine a world where we all practiced the understanding of how were naturally wired and the conflict reduction. Perceptions would move from seeing people with “difficult personalities” to Strengths in overdrive, knowing with learning & understanding and conscious awareness balance can be achieved 🙏🏼

Thx David. May I add that emotional intelligence can be enhanced and developed with simple learning of the 34 intrinsic Talents that make up the uniqueness of each individual “personality”. I find it sad that this is not taught in our early development to form preventative measures in managing what is termed here as “difficult personalities” yet is actual natural ways of thinking, feeling & behaving that we ourselves have very little insight in. When my husband became an addicted work-a-holic he took the Strength Assessment which I knew from my work as a qualified StrengthFinder®️ Coach would highlight Achiever (www.with-humanity.co.uk/achiever) as a top talent pattern. How can you develop a problem-solving plan for clients with anger management issues?
We are all wired uniquely. This wiring informs our unique needs and contributions. When our needs are met we can contribute effectively, often optimally. However, when these same needs go unmet, we can be triggered into overuse and underuse patterns of behaviour. This causes systemic disengagement and conflict and when ongoing, can cause acute anger. However, exploring one's natural wiring (through one's Strengths Assessment) and the associated triggers, overuse, and underuse patterns, one can learn to manage these through a deep understanding of oneself, and the associated needs, as a way to reduce the triggers, mitigating anger and conflict as a result.

The goals that were set, some short term, some long term, are all mapped out and are achievable. The sessions have also brought to light my strengths and weaknesses and taught me to embrace what I am good at. I have always considered myself a fairly confident person and quite determined. Success is high up on my priority list, along with the love and well-being of my family. I feel that I am even more focused and more determined than ever to make Model Kids a success.
My sincere thanks, to Sam McDonald who has started me on my journey. She is an exceptional coach and I have every faith she will go on to help many more people on their path to success.
