Firstly you will need a domain name, we normally recommend clients purchase their own domain name through 123-reg.co.uk, if you dont already have one, we can help with this if needed. - Around £10 a year You will also need to pay for hosting, we can host your site or you can host the site yourself. - Around £20 a month You may also want to look at ongoing marketing going forward, including SEO, Social Media and Paid Advertising.

How We Surpassed Client KPIs set by over 370% 📈 We've been working with Connectus Utilities for just over 6 months, supporting with Google Ads and the results have been 🔥🔥🔥 Prior to coming on board with us, they'd not ran any PPC for their Connectus site before, so were entering unchartered territory. 🚨 Here's your reminder from PPC Geeks Ltd - Google makes money because you pay for advertising! 💸 We see our role as helping our clients not give Google any more money that you need to. Google needs to work for you, not be a tax on your business. Fascinating insights in this article. Key points I take from this: 1. A reminder that Google manually increased Ad prices to hit revenue targets. 2. CPCs are rising! But hey, everything costs more these days doesn't it... 3. The thing is, CPCs are rising despite click volumes decreasing! That's counter intuitive to supply and demand surely... 4. PMax is performing better now. But...this is comparing peak shopping data Q4 with Q1 so not Apples with Apples here. 5. PMax is what most advertisers are running. And it kinda is performing better (we always test and usually it does perform better in our data). That said, expect PMax to be the only option soon. Bottom line: It takes daily diligence in your account to not let Google suck up more of your margin. It's more complicated now because so much is automated, it needs more checks and a better understanding of what's going on than ever before - especially in today's economy. Be vigilant. Always. There’s always someone cheaper and if you don’t value quality or results then you can snap up some absolute zinger deals🤩 I can recommend hundreds of agencies that will do your seo for a few hundred quid a month and they’ll even knock you up a website for like £2,000😍 And if any of that sounds even remotely tempting then you are far too dumb to be a client of mine😂 We pitched a client the other day, they currently turnover £11mil a year with around 12% profit. They want to get to £14mil a year with the help of some good marketing. So an extra £360,000 a year profit for them🥳🥳 Quoted £4k a month for what is needed to get them to their target (and likely beyond it) Client - “nah too expensive”🤯 The inner toxic part of me likes to check in on these clients 6 months later knowing full when they’ve been taken for a ride…. Then I smugly ask “how’s that marketing of yours going” 😝 At which point they always say things like:- “oh it hasn’t worked” “The guy messed us around” “The websites taking forever” “We aren’t seeing results, can you have a look and see why” And they always pin it on someone else:- “I wanted you guys but the team voted for..” “My sales director knew this other guy” “The MD wanted someone local” This is then the point they come crawling to us and we charge about 20% more than our first quote as “insult tax” #ilovebusiness #staytoxic #peoplearefunnycreatures #cheapmarketingsucks
