Myself, Rendall Munroe and the Team at Triple skillz In The Community are very proud to be announcing we are launching our own charity... Triple Skillz Charity Below are the (in a nutshell shell) Intentions of the charity, but needles to say, given what we do at Triple Skillz it is no surprise it has young people and their wellbeing at its core... So In a nutshell though these will be our aims: 1) The procurment and refurbishment of old abandoned youth clubs / boys clubs. Breathing new life back into old abandoned buildings such as youth clubs / boys clubs and making them sustainable for their running and developemnt for many years to come. Giving communities somewhere to go to both day and night. 2) Activity holidays taking young people (many of whom have never left their own county) abroad on social projects to areas of deprivation. Giving them a large dollop of reality and a gratitude check. Working on community projects in schools for few days before being put through their paces in a number of activities, showing them just what they are capable of. Followed by 2 days of seeing sights, some they would only ever dream of. Gratitude and Empathy will be served up.in large quantities. 3) Breakfast and diner clubs. Supporting families with much needed time together round the table whist also providing activities for afterwards for the kids in an evening and education and support for the adults, from th eoffer of help with english and maths, through to budgeting & money management etc.. There is more to it, but that is it in a nutshell :) Also there will be lots of events happening this year to help raise the profile.and bring in some financial support, including: Black Tie Dinner Lanch event (April.19th) Tough Mudder (July) Marathon (October) Mountain climbing (TBC) Sky diving White colar boxing night (September) Last player standing Football competitions... (Through out the season) Triple Skillz Charity will be looking for help, volunteers, sponsors, fund raisers, Corporate Partners... If you know a business that has a CSR policy and is looking for a charity to support... please put them in touch.
