Sometimes without even realising you’re stuck in a rut, your creativity has dwindled and you’re feeling imbalanced. This is how I felt last week… I had slipped into a routine that left me feeling groggy, irritable and drained. Fortunately I had booked a trip my last minute trip to Galway 🇮🇪 to visit my sister Rebecca Dorsett MSc MCSP. As soon as I landed my parasympathetic nervous system relaxed, I breathed in the fresh, crisp country air, unclenched my jaw and felt a lot lighter in a matter of minutes Visiting my sister came at the right time. We went for a morning cold water swim in the Atlantic Ocean 🥶, took walks around the Salthill promenade, sat on Coral Beach reading and I tried Guiness for the first time (not my thing sorry Ireland!) I’ve returned to the UK with a pep in my step, creativity flowing and energy rebalanced.
