The Suffolk Chamber International Trade Group (SCITG) recently gathered to bolster local businesses in international trade through valuable experience-sharing and insights from policy leaders. The event featured Neil Bird from Gaston Schul | Customs & Trade Control, who provided updates on customs changes, including the new Border Target Operating Model (BTOM) and the transition from CHIEF to CDS. Key Highlights; 🌟 Julian Munson from Suffolk County Council showcased various innovation initiatives and grants available to fuel business innovation in Suffolk. 🌟 Steven W. of Freeport East highlighted the widespread benefits of the Freeport East project, reaching businesses across Suffolk. 🌟 Dan Thorp of Cambridge Ahead discussed how West Suffolk can build its knowledge economy by tapping into the Cambridge innovation eco-system. 🌟 Julie Baird from West Suffolk Council provided insights into the council's support for business innovation.
