Go behind the scenes at the first-ever drone show flown at Sphere Entertainment Co.   For our client Netflix and in partnership with Media.Monks, we harnessed the power of the Exosphere and 400 LED drones to bring the world of Rebel Moon to life in the skies of Las Vegas, marking the launch of the sci-fi sensation. 🪐   Filmed with meticulous coordination, multiple drone cameras took to the air and an FPV drone even soared in and around the drone planetary ring. SKYMAGIC are deeply honoured to have performed at the D-Day 80th Anniversary commemorations for UK Ministry of Defence in collaboration with BBC. Working hand-in-hand with the BBC Studios team, we developed the concept that the collective memory of the audience was drawing historic moments through time into our present. Leaning to an ethereal visual language, the design of this poignant tribute echoed the final moments of loved ones, spitfires soaring, and battleships crossing the oceans 80 years ago to the day. The heartfelt interviews with veterans, captured by the BBC Studios Events team, brought tears to our eyes on multiple occasions during the creation of this show. The exquisite audio design by Simon Haw MBE, enriched by his own military experience, added a deeply sensitive and sincere touch to the composition. A collaboration that was profoundly inspirational, and a true privilege. SKYMAGIC hope to have done justice to all of the contributors and are deeply honoured to have been asked to contribute to commemorating the bravery and sacrifices of those who took part in one of history’s most pivotal moments. A huge congratulations to AbuDhabi Autonomous Racing League on a ground-breaking autonomous racing league at Yas Marina Circuit - The Meeting Place of Champions. 🏁🏎️ Closing with a bang, we had the privilege of creating an electrifying drone display with Alsayegh , lifting the podium celebrations into the skies above the track. 🎉 Our performance dove deep into the realm of intelligence, transporting audiences into a thrilling data verse - from an expanding cosmic nebula to a digital eye scanning out across Shams Tower, and dazzling logos surrounded by the artistry of Flash Art.
