We have always been committed to learning, but now more than ever we’re investing in our people... Our brilliant HR Team recently kick started our journey with Thrive, the learning management system which will continue to develop and refine the skills of our employees (both clinical and non-clinical), to continue providing expert care and support to our patients and customers throughout their experience. CPD is more than just a buzz word for us. 🌈✨ As Pride Month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on our journey this June, and our ongoing commitment to educating, celebrating, and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. Through our new learning platform, Thrive, our team has delved into valuable resources, explored powerful LGBTQIA+ stories, and learned about the importance of inclusion and diversity in the workplace. From understanding the significance of respecting pronouns to discovering ways to be an ally, we have embraced the opportunity to grow and support one another. Here is what our HR Director, Catherine said: "This year, we wanted to share resources that would help our workforce learn more about the significance of Pride. Deepening our understanding of this topic, is just one way we can help to foster the greatest sense of inclusion and belonging in our diverse workplace. We know that we’re not all at the same place with our knowledge and so our learning campaign focused on why Pride began, key definitions, pronouns and personal stories. We shared what it means to be an ally, and highlighted the important charity that is Switchboard. “With ignorance comes fear, from fear comes bigotry.
