Our Director for Sustainability, UK, David Kemp recently featured on Place North West's podcast to discuss the importance of making the UK’s energy-efficient affordable housing. Alongside guest speaker Sandy Livingstone Executive Director of Property at Onward Homes, David explores how the housing sector can work towards successfully attaining its net-zero goals. This means acquiring data, engaging the communities we’re working with to demonstrate the benefits of retrofit, embracing the technology already at hand and seeking long-term investment. David says: “In pursuit of our net-zero goals, we must conduct a comprehensive analysis of the communities and the homes we are working with. This will help us to devise plans which benefit and complement the desires and needs of both the sector and residents.” Listen to the episode: https://bit.ly/3Y0gtJ7 #NetZero #Sustainability #greenhomes #housing
