The event, centred on "Rethinking Allyship", featured an enlightening presentation by guest speaker Cordelia Osewa-Ediae FRSA. Here are some key takeaways: Leadership and allyship are inherently intertwined. It is necessary for leaders to actively demonstrate allyship in order to drive meaningful change. While it is not always easy, by consciously recognising the privilege that comes with leadership, change and acceptance can be achieved. Ultimately, it’s about how we effect change, as much as about recognising the need for change.
