Welcome to Francesco Scopesi who joins Mundipharma with 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Francesco has held country and cluster responsibilities in previous organisations and has vital experience of launching treatments in the rare diseases therapy area. He has a track record of shaping the stakeholder environment and health care systems, combined with a strong focus on patient advocacy which aligns strongly to our mission at Mundipharma of United for Patients.   “I’m excited to join Mundipharma as Country Leader, Italy. Wonderful team effort from our colleagues in Research & Development who recently spent a day volunteering at Snakehall Farm near Cambridge. This 18-acre farm is part of the Prospects Trust charity which supports people with additional needs. Our team worked together to do gardening work around the farm and following this, the team took a walk around the nature reserve which will be opened in September to mark the charity's 35-year anniversary. “It was really rewarding to experience first-hand the wonderful work that this small charity is doing, including being able to try the some of the tasty organic produce grown on the farm such as rhubarb, eggs and spinach,” said Caroline Grace, part of the volunteering group. At Mundipharma, development and the ability to show up to work as one’s true self are critical to any impactful colleague experience. With this in mind, we redesigned our performance management programme for 2024 and last week held our first Development Week event, where we were delighted with the success and positive feedback from our colleagues across the globe. We hosted live events with our Executive Committee in Cambridge, which were streamed to other local offices, as well as leadership chats onsite to hear from colleagues who have recently taken part in our exciting talent programmes.
