Continuing our commitment to caring for the planet, we have teamed up with The Coca-Cola Company Great Britain for the third consecutive year to reduce plastic waste. ♻️ Guests can win VIP experiences at top UK family attractions by recycling a 500ml plastic bottle at reverse vending machines, which can be found at attractions including Alton Towers Resort, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, and Chessington World of Adventures Resort. Over 150,000 plastic bottles have been recycled through the scheme since 2019, with 28 reverse vending machines to be found across 11 Merlin locations. 🌍 Dare Ilori, Group Sustainability Director, said "Plastic waste is a pressing environmental issue, and at Merlin, we are dedicated to raising awareness, and implementing effective and measurable solutions. Wolf Legend, Gardaland - Merlin Entertainments Limited's brand-new drop and twist tower, has officially opened! 🐺 Telling the tale of a wolf cursed to be forever frozen in stone, the 82ft tall ride promises an immersive, one-of-a-kind adventure for thrill-seekers of all ages. Guests are challenged to break the curse by entering the wolf’s mouth, ascending to the top of the tower, before descending through clouds of smoke. Sabrina de Carvalho, Divisional Director at Gardaland Resort, said “With this attraction, we want to involve a very wide audience, from families with children to groups of friends. The goal is to win everyone over with unique experiences, and we are confident it will provide a magical and exclusive experience for our guests. This season, we are investing approximately 14 million euros across Gardaland Resort, including our three hotels and SEA LIFE."
