Menzies' Solent office have signed up for not just one, but two challenges, in support of their office charity, Sophie's Legacy. 17 members of our Solent office will be battling against each other in Dragon Boat Racing, and 13 members of the team will be taking on The Great South Run. I thought I'd take on a little challenge.....!! 🏃🏻♂️ (or two 🚣♂️ ). I'm definitely not a runner and I don't do exercise. I am a supporter of great causes, and I am up for a challenge. I'm also looking for your support. This year I've decided to sign up for two physical challenges to help support the fantastic work Sophie's Legacy do. On 7 September I will be taking part as part of a team of 17 from the Menzies LLP Solent Office to battle against other teams in a day of Dragon Boat Racing. Then, on 20 October I, along with 13 of my Menzies Solent teammates, have signed up to take on the Great South Run. Can I please ask for your support by sponsoring me and/or the Menzies Solent Team to take on these events? It's for a fantastic cause which really does make a difference!!! Our minimum target is modest, but we're hoping to blow this out of the water and give the charity a big number!!!

In his 2024 Spring Budget the Conservative Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt announced that the Government would publish draft legislation with a view to extending full expending for leased assets when fiscal conditions allow. Until such time as new legislation comes into force, construction groups buying new plant and machinery should carefully consider how it will be owned and used in order to ensure full expensing is available.
