I've been a bit quiet this week—still recovering from the snooze-fest that was England's performance in this year's Euros! I'm hoping for a bit more excitement moving forward, but maybe I should just stick to watching Germany. At least they keep me awake! Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor junior legal staff and contribute to their professional growth. Demonstrate your ability to build and lead a high-performing legal team. 3. Enhance Visibility and Influence Build Executive Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with the CEO, CFO, and other senior executives. Position yourself as a trusted advisor who can provide strategic insights and legal counsel at the highest levels. Industry Engagement: Increase your visibility within the legal and business communities. Participate in industry conferences, publish thought leadership articles, and engage in professional associations. Building a strong external network can enhance your reputation and open opportunities for advancement to the General Counsel role.
