🏥 The Carbon Literacy for Healthcare Toolkit suite of courses are co-designed and approved by #NHSEngland and #GreenerNHS. Certified Carbon Literacy training is a critical engagement tool that enables the workforce to support NHS #NetZero targets and #GreenPlans by equipping individuals with the knowledge needed to understand the relationship between climate and health, the risks of inaction and the co-benefits of individual and collective action to decarbonise the healthcare system. #NHS colleagues can access the first part of their certified Carbon Literacy training via the elfhc hub: https://lnkd.in/eTBc6QMi There are 5x 30 minute modules to work through as time allows. Once you have completed the modules, you can access a half day workshop to complete your training within your NHS organisation if it is being rolled out internally. Officially more literate with "carbon" in comparison to my grasp of the English language. Thanks to The Carbon Literacy Project for producing the tools to help tackle the issues we face during the push to a more circular economy. Also to Emma Burlow and the team at Lighthouse Sustainability Ltd for the training, with your help I hope this produces an important tipping point for the rest of my career.

We share a vision at Trident Utilities to make energy and net zero simple for our customers. To do this it's important that we lead by example and to support our vision we recently completed Carbon Literacy Training with the help of Emma Burlow, Lighthouse Sustainability Ltd and the The Carbon Literacy Project. I'm pleased to announce that I've completed the required assessment and met all the requirements of the Carbon Literacy Standard. I look forward to continuing our work and helping businesses turn intent into action as they progress their net zero journey and reduce their carbon emissions.

I’m pretty sure that Sir Patrick Vallance is the first ever certified Carbon Literate UK government minister. Well I know for sure he’s certified because I read his course evidence.
