The official charity of Liverpool Football Club. Creating life changing opportunities for young people and families.
About us
The LFC Foundation is the official charity of Liverpool Football Club. Our mission is to create life changing opportunities for young people and families. Being part of Liverpool Football Club means being part of the greatest football family in the world. We look out for each other, and particularly those who are in need. Building on the Club’s work in the community over the past 20 years, the charity was formed in 2010 as a financially independent organisation to harness the power and passion our fans and supporters have to improve the lives of others. Stop the Hate, Report it.

We joined Liverpool Football Club and Standard Chartered in Kenya for our Play On: Train The Trainer programme. The aim of the programme is to help turn young females into leaders on and off the field. Karl Carney, our Sport and Physical Activity Department Manager provided key insights on how taking a person centred approach to coaching will help empower and inspire the next generation of girls in sport. Following devastating floods in Alisson Becker's home state of Rio Grande do Sul, we are raising funds to support and provide aid to those who need it most. With our support, Alisson is launching a one-off auction with match-worn shirts from the last match of the 2023-24 season, alongside a range of signed football boots from the squad. To celebrate the end of another incredibly successful season for LFC Foundation, we caught up with its chief executive, Matt Parish. Parish reflected on the many highlights for the charity during 2023-24, from its sold-out official legends charity match at Anfield to the release of its third social impact report, recent award wins and plans for the next campaign. Discussing LFC Foundation’s impact, Parish said: “It’s our biggest ever, we’ve supported over 122,000 participants and generated a social value of over £80 million, which for every £1 raised we turn it into £14 worth of value for our communities, which we are super-proud of.” Watch the full interview below or read more here: https://lnkd.in/e-rVJERs

Today is an exciting day as we're publishing our Honeysuckle FC evaluation. This report is the culmination of the hard work from the teams at Edge Hill University, the Honeysuckle department at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust and 4Louis. With the help of the families, we've been able to understand the impact that our programme has had on those who have experienced the loss of a child. We're proud to continue to support those families, by creating safe spaces to talk, share experiences and be physically active. There is a real need for these services ❤️ To read the full report please visit: https://lnkd.in/enhs7mhf

Through our partnership with Right To Play, we believe in a world of incredible possibilities for girls that can be unlocked through education. Last month, three members of our delivery team travelled to Tanzania to work Side By Side with Right To Play. They delivered sessions within schools based in rural villages in the Serengeti district, discussing equality and the importance of education for young girls. They also supported the delivery of a sports tournament, bringing local schools and villages together and allowing girls to get involved in competitive sport. Thank you James McCall, Michael Ryan and Molly for your incredible work on the trip! Learn more: https://bit.ly/3VEHDUn
