This afternoon, the Careers & Social Mobility team celebrated the achievements of the students who completed the first Primary STEM Careers Programme, ‘Shaping Our World’ 2023. The programme is designed to introduce young people to a range of STEM based careers that exist today and in the future. This unique programme has three key elements; the after-school STEM Club, where students solve a problem using a scientific approach. The second, an interactive STEM Careers Fair where students have the opportunity to interact with companies and get hands-on experience with the tools, programmes and raw materials they use in their STEM industry. . The third and final part, is the celebration event! Today, we mark this special occasion with students, teachers, parents/carers and Councillor Wahid. A lovely afternoon with every student receiving a Certificate in recognition for their achievements followed by 🎂    A big thank you to George Green's School, Langdon Park School, STEM Learning UK, University of East London, Crest Discovery Awards and our sponsor Lateral London.
