Kindness😀 As England won the toss to go into bowl first against the West Indies this morning, in the opening test🏏 of the summer, cheers resonated across the grounds at Lords for Jimmy Anderson who made his test debut on this very patch in May 2003 and who will bring his England career to a close, at this same venue, this month.   This universal kindness shown to one individual, a genuine display of affection, gratitude and admiration is something to behold.    ➡️Do we do it enough?    Sure, we can all have 'bad' days, similarly, we are not privy to the personal lives of everyone, however, simple acts of kindness can truly make an enormous impact. Kindness is an enhancer, not a blocker, and it can open up so many opportunities, both professional and personal.    Understanding the value of kindness, to others and of equal importance, ourselves, can change the course of our lives. So at Kingsley Green Recruitment, we ask you to stop and think where you can improve. And if you are at Lords, hand the person next to you a hankie, for the 'rain' on their face. It's going to be emotional!   https://lnkd.in/dumdDPyE     #Kindess #values #englandcricket #2024test #jamesanderson #westindiescricket

  • Leadership and Team Dynamics   Not just in the legal world, but that of banking, finance and many, many others, conventionally you are trained and retrained at different junctures on your career trajectory. But then there comes a point, a fork in your career path, where you might enter into the world of management ( chosen or otherwise). This is a world that you have not spent the last few years being trained for. And yet, you are expected to manage. For some, this comes naturally. For others, they need assistance.    An interesting read below, from Sterling Miller, and a few tips she has learnt along the way:   https://lnkd.in/e9QN-hgA   At the same time, at Kingsley Green Recruitment would like to know if you think:

  • British Tennis🎾   Many of you may have gone to vote early this morning to ensure that you did not miss this afternoon's Wimbledon schedule, bursting at the seams today with our amazing British players.   Wildcard Jacob Fearnley takes on Novak Djokovic, followed by the Murray brothers in their men's doubles on Centre Court.   Around the corner, on Court 1, it is a battle of the British; two consecutive singles matches with all British players: Katie Boulter kicks off the afternoon's competition against Harriet Dart, followed by Jack Draper challenging Cameron Norrie, in the men's singles.   At Kingsley Green Recruitment we want to wish them all very best luck and thank them for their intense hard work, unwavering determination and fabulous entertainment that they gift us all with.   Huge congratulations🎉 also to Emma Raducanu with her epic 6-1 6-2 victory over Elise Mertens yesterday.   https://lnkd.in/ewiU8kP7   #TeamGB #Wimbledon

  • Working Whilst on Holiday🏖️ Some schools have already broken up for the long summer break and the annual holiday, excitedly booked months previously, edges closer and closer. Unfortunately, most of us struggle to disconnect while on holiday. In the link below👇, studies have shown that 82% of us still work whilst on holiday. Is it due to the relative ease, what with modern day technology, that allows is to still be 'engaged' with work while ironically 'on holiday'? What drives this hesitancy to disconnect and take time off? After all, recovery time from work is essential to enable humans to maintain high productivity and efficiency levels. Equally, it is essential time to be with family, to be present and actually take time off. https://lnkd.in/ey9DvB-x At Kingsley Green Recruitment we would be interested to know what you do:

  • Victorious Kingsley Green 🍾🎉   Still joyous from England's win🎖️ on Sunday and when many may have been tuned into the France v Belgium match, a small band of keen footballers walked out onto a London pitch yesterday evening, to fight for the crown of their 5 aside tournament ⚽   Yes, it was Team Kingsley Green Recruitment, led by their capable and spirited captain, Dominic Pulsford, ready to face an equally determined squad in the battle of footballing wits.     They didn't disappoint. With minds etched with well versed strategies, each player, a master of their craft, moved with purpose and precision, their focus unwavering as they navigated the field. The air buzzed with anticipation and as the game wore on, the field bore the scars of battle, trampled grass and divots marking the intensity of the contest.   As the final whistle blew, our players lingered on the field, a mix of exhaustion and elation, knowing that Team KGR were the champions of the 5 aside.    Hugest congratulations to Team KGR and your opponents for a great demonstration of fortitude and teamwork!!!🎉🍾🎖️   #teamwork #football #determination #kingsleygreenrecruitment

  • Last night, the England football team faced a formidable opponent in a high-stakes match. The expectations were sky-high, and fans held their breath as the game unfolded. But this post isn’t about giving your absolute best, it is about doing enough to secure victory. England didn’t dazzle with flawless play or jaw-dropping skills. Instead, they displayed determination, resilience, and tactical acumen. They weathered the storm, defended stoutly, and capitalised on crucial moments. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was effective. The hero of the night? Jude Bellingham. His overhead kick sealed the deal. The stadium erupted, and fans celebrated a hard-fought win. Bellingham’s grit epitomised the team’s spirit: not flashy, but effective. Good luck to Kingsley Green’s five-a-side team tonight! Led by the captain, Dominic Pulsford, they’re ready for their final showdown. Let’s hope they channel the same determination as England did last night. Remember, sometimes it’s not about being the best; it’s about doing what’s necessary to emerge victorious. 🏆⚽ #kingsleygreenrecruitment #football #determination

  • Working Outside?☀️ ➡️Research in 2017 found that breathing in office air resulted in all of us being less productive. Obviously, there are various parameters to this survey, the most recognised being the quality of the office air. 👇 However, would you think to set up a team desk/office outside on glorious days like this , under the canopy of an umbrella🏖️ ? Do you think you would still get the same amount of productivity from the team or would it be a distraction? #freshair #sunshine #smallthings #kingsleygreenrecruitment

  • Eagle Club Event Kingsley Green Recruitment were fortunate to attend and sponsor the Eagle Club Event on Monday. Lesley Wan did an incredible job organising what was a fabulous event, getting together 100 female GCs in one room to listen and talk about things that really affect them.   Charlotte Butterfield, Sarah Turnbull and Tanya Hinchliffe were thrilled to attend the event and enjoyed moderating the talks on their tables – with lots of interesting points of view. The keynote speaker was the impressive Kathleen Donnelly KC who gave the guests insight into representing the 555 postmasters and sub postmasters in the Post Office scandal and talked about lessons to be learnt about corporate culture – it was fascinating! The day ended with a champagne🍾 reception which gave everyone an opportunity to meet new people and catch up with familiar faces whilst discussing the days’ events. The hugest thank you 🙏 to Lesley Wan for organising such memorable and collaborative day and also for inviting Kingsley Green Recruitment to sponsor the event. We were extremely proud to sponsor such an incredible initiative and triumph of a day!🎆 #eagleclubevent #ladiesinlaw
