Ground+Air was out in force this year at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. We're still on catch-up, having delivered six workshops to global marketing teams as part of Lions Advisory’s Cannes Curated programme. Felt constructive, really current, and fun. This year's topic was "energy": how we nurture it, retain it, track it, apply it, replenish it so we can feel at our best and perform at our best...and keep doing it. The workshops led to some fascinating (and often quite intimate) discussions with leaders around how they operate in the wake of changing working practices and expectations, the steps they can (or already make) to achieve high performance across the many domains they have to juggle, how they carve out the balance that best fits them, and the conditions they can put around their teams to support more flow. Ground+Air takes a science-based, 360 approach to studying and coaching for optimal and peak performance. Our Cannes team included two expert physiologists, a chartered psychologist and an executive performance coach, so we could bring a truly rounded perspective. Special thanks to Spencer Fox, Fiorenza Plinio, the whole Advisory team; also Steve Latham - and the marvellous Julian Linley who connected us in the first place - and to General Mills, Abbott, Pfizer, Shell, INNOCEAN, Saudi Tourism Authority | الهيئة السعودية للسياحة Also Clayton Green, Joe Davis and Oliver Patrick, Kirsty Askwith and Kate Courthold, If you would like to explore any of our flow coaching programmes, or learn about our wider leadership and hi-po development and coaching services, we’d love to hear from you - or please do follow our page. #performancecoaching #developmentcoaching #leadershipdevelopment #flowscience #findyourflow

Brilliant to have been working last week with the impressive team from Supplier Day. Joe Davis delivered an interactive workshop on communication, impact, and influence at the home of our other client in Shoreditch, Guild Esports. This topic area is a key part of Ground+Air's work with individuals and teams across business, sport, and esports. Get in touch to learn how our specialist team can help you unlock or enhance your team's, or your own, performance. https://lnkd.in/eRJAZd-Q Thank you to Luke Jones from Guild for showing the Supplier Day team around the facilities. It's safe to say that Caitlyn Lewis had a lot of fun on the sim racing rig! #communication #impactandinfluence #teamdevelopment #esports #simracing Jim Brown

In a 10-year McKinsey study, top executives reported being five times more productive in flow. Flow state is that feeling of being 'in the zone'. Where we feel our best and perform at our best. It's not easy to drop into flow but there are things we can do to give ourselves a better chance of accessing the elusive state. Two flow blockers are interruptions and our work environment. Read our latest blog to learn how to navigate interruptions skilfully and craft your work environment so it's conducive to accessing flow more often. #flowstate #performancepsychology #performancecoaching
