Are you aged 16-25, based in London with personal experience of school exclusions? We want to empower you to speak up and influence change (this includes permanent exclusions, suspensions, forced school changes, and unfair isolation room punishments). Let’s work together! What you’ll do: • Create digital content for an online hub to inform and empower other young people and improve practices in schools and local councils • Develop campaigns to change policy and the working practices of professionals • Share your views with government, social services and others to create change • Work with the media to change public perception What you’ll get: • Take part in a free training programme to get skills and knowledge of:
 – Young people’s rights around school exclusion
 – Campaigning and making change

The Department for Education stopped collection of any data about private fostering in 2015 and therefore the number of children who are privately fostered is not known.
