This time last week, we played an April Fools Day prank featuring Jos Buttler. Working with Alex Taylor at the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) we captured and brought to life the idea of England’s white ball captain changing his name to the often mispronounced version Josh Buttler. With over 2 million instagram views and 12,000 watch hours, coverage across leading UK and Indian media publications and interactions from leading sporting figures. Did you fall for it? #cricket #aprilfools #videoproduction Miroma Group

We are so delighted to announce the release of the feature length documentary, Cricket Actually, an important film exploring what the spirit of cricket means today. Over the last couple of years we have been working with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), speaking to pockets of communities up and down the country, to find diverse and captivating stories to celebrate how individuals and communities are expanding and sustaining the game of cricket to make it so much more than just a sport. It's a celebration as to why we all love cricket and what it really stands for. Deep diving into how cricket brings people together, whether they're strangers, teammates, or old pals. Cricket is a game that has evolved over the years, and this film celebrates those who are pushing it forward today. Commissioned by ECB Senior Creative, Jimmy Lee, and shot by filmmaker, Tegid Cartwright. You can watch the trailer below and the full length version on YouTube https://lnkd.in/e_uiXw_U Credits: Director Jimmy Lee DOP Tegid Cartwright Producer Nicola Magos (née Harris) Editor Sean Webb Production Assistant Onai Tafuma Researcher/Assistant Producer Mariana Conde Grant Colourist Vanya Tomova Sound Mix Connor Ashmore Graphic Design Reece McGowan #cricket #documentary #community #production #sportsdocumentary Miroma Group

Five years ago the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) launched The Hundred, a new, pacier format which was intended to breathe fresh life into cricket, introducing new audiences to a sport whose growth was at risk of stalling. Our Executive Creative Director, Paul Reid, explains our content strategy behind the launch of the Hundred to Broadcast Sport, how we introduced new audiences to a sport whose growth was at risk of stalling, and how the Hundred is now a must-see sporting moment. #contentstrategy #broadcastsport #cricket #thehundred #sportsocialmedia Miroma Group https://lnkd.in/ej8Qn7he
