The highest circulating magazine in UK construction, covering key news, issues and technical info for professionals.
About us
Construction Management is the highest circulating magazine in the UK construction sector, as audited by ABC (Audited Bureau of Circulation), with an official circulation of 30,887 in print. As well as its high print circulation, CM’s website – which unlike industry competitors has no paywall – reaches an even bigger audience of construction professionals, with over 58,000 subscribers to our email newsletters. CM provides high quality news, analysis, technical content and CPDs, delivered by our experienced editorial team, with direction informed by a select editorial board of industry experts. Our professional readership is drawn from a variety of organisations across the built environment, including main contractors (40%), consultants (20%) and clients (17%). More than half of our audience comes from major construction companies with over 500 employees, including Balfour Beatty, Laing O’Rourke, Skanska, Morgan Sindall, Kier, Vinci and Willmott Dixon.

In 2021, CIOB fellow Gavin Skelly FCIOB MIConstM aFA founded Fire Aware: an organisation aiming to tackle the underlying cultural issues in the construction industry that contributed to the Grenfell Tower fire. By displaying the Fire Aware badge on their websites or signage, built environment companies can demonstrate that a building has been constructed and managed by businesses aware of their moral obligations to keep people safe. "We want to do something similar to the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS),” explains Skelly. “When you see the CCS logo, you know that a site has signed up to a set of obligations that commit it to act in a certain way, and it arguably works. Why wouldn’t we do something similar for fire?” You can learn more about Fire Aware and how Skelly is driving cultural change among contractors and the supply chain in Construction Management magazine. #BuiltEnvironment #FireSafety #BuildingSafety
