About us
We are one integrated Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Support Team (MHST) providing support to children, young people, families and professionals in 64 educational settings across Central and West Lancashire. We support children and young people aged between 5-18 and their families to GROW through what they are going through. We do this through individual interventions, group sessions, parent-led workshops, whole school approach and supporting and training for schools and colleges. We believe in valuing each individual which means that every child or young person gets the support they need, when and how they want to receive it.

Helping Children and Young People (CYPs) navigate the world and sharing tools, resources and coping strategies helps them to be more equipped to deal with feelings such as worry. Its so important to learn not to dwell on the things you cannot control and refocus your mind on actionable choices, the 😟 Worry Tree 🌳 is a great way to help with this. Identify your worries, determine if you can do something about them, create an action plan if possible, take action, and let go of worries beyond your control. And remember: it's always 🆗 to ask for help if you need it.
