Our Euros at Bundobust specials launch on Monday and HERE'S what to expect... You guessed it. Vindaloo Pie! We teamed up with Manchester based THE GREAT NORTH PIE COMPANY LTD (who we met at INDY MAN BEER CON a good new years back) for a cheeky 1-2 collaboration that's been turning heads since, well... when we announced it earlier today. Buckets of vegetable Vindaloo inside Great North Pie Co’s buttery, flaky pastry. Served with mushy raghda peas and desi gravy. With a whole menu of food and drink inspired by football ground favourites - you can catch them at all Bundo's until the 14th July - all day, everyday. So, even if you don't like footy, you can try the menu and pretend you do. TRY IT FROM MONDAY. Book a table to eat, or a space to watch the games in our Euro Fan Zones. www.bundobust.com/euros

The team have been working on this limited-edition menu and merch behind the scenes for a while, in collaboration with THE GREAT NORTH PIE COMPANY LTD and AcidFC - stay tuned as we begin the squad reveal later this week (ahem, vindaloo pie, ahem). We're taking bookings now for all games! Massive shout out to the Rundo crew for smashing the #Manchester Great Run as a team this weekend. 🫡 The race is over and the stitches have just about worn off, but there’s still chance to donate a few quid for their efforts if you can, with all donations going to the Eden Young Fellowship for Aspiring Working Class Journalists. The Eden Young Fellowship for Aspiring Working Class Journalists aims to provide an aspiring working class journalist will get a fully paid, full time, year-long position in the Polyester Zine team, where Eden worked as Managing Editor. Eden was a close personal friend of many at Bundobust, and an OG member of the Bundo Manchester team who played a HUGE part in Bundo’s formative years. A genuine one-of-a-kind, Eden made an impact on everybody she worked with and met at Bundo, all over the Manchester hospitality scene, and more recently through her journalism and broadcasting which earned her kind of the international audience that a personality like Eden’s was always destined for. https://lnkd.in/eapjRFd8

Look we don’t like to blow our own bansuri (too much) but this one feels like a Big Moment™ - last night we went down to London for the national Casual Dining Awards 2024 where we were up for the #MenuInnovation award. Talk about the group of death!! We were flattered to even be nominated alongside the likes of Bone Daddies Group, CARAVAN COFFEE ROASTERS, Megan's Restaurants, and Permit Room. Best case scenario, we thought, was take the L and use it as an excuse to go for cocktails at The Midland and a tower or Singha at Speedboat Bar. But yeah, we won. Huge team effort, massive congratulations to the whole team for developing, executing, and serving our innovative - innovative!! - menus, and a massive thanks to you lot for eating it. Now what to innovate next? Maybe TWO chillis on the side of your Vada Pav…

Good news story! This week our Python launch was named a finalist for best Marketing Implementation in the SIBA, The Society of Independent Brewers Business Awards 🐍 The aim of this project was clear (and ambitious) from the start: To brew and launch a new beer that would become Bundobust Brewery's top seller. We started with the name - Python - a tongue in cheek nod to a bestselling staple in Indian restaurants. Over in the brewhouse Dan Hocking & Daniel Read developed a crisp refreshing lager that goes brilliantly with the spices and textures of our food. And Everyday Something nailed the brief for iconic branding that would stand out on the taps and would be easily adaptable to merchandise and POS. The launch was facilitated by free pint vouchers via Airship, an ongoing partnership with MCR FINEST LTD, and the development of our own version of Snakes and Ladders which sat on the bar and invited any customers purchasing pints to roll the dice and win prizes. Since launching in November Python has quickly dominated our brew schedule, and become the best selling beer in Bundobust venues. We're dead proud of this project. Have you tried a pint yet?

Bundobust appears on Rick Stein’s Food Stories! We are excited to announce that Bundobust has been featured on Rick Stein's Food Stories! The renowned TV chef recently paid a visit to our OG Leeds location as part of his new series exploring food culture in the UK. In the Yorkshire episode Rick perfects his Yorkshire Pudding recipe (got to be done!), before visiting The Tofoo Co, sampling street food in Leeds City Centre, enjoying a Landlord at Whitelock's Ale House, and joining Mayur and Marko for an afternoon of Indian Street Food and Craft Beer at Bundobust. After trying some of our favourite dishes, all washed down with cold glasses of Bundobust Brewery’s Dhania Pilsner, Rick joined executive chef Gopi in the kitchen to cook up our Anglo-Indian mash up – Raghda Pethis. In this fusion dish, mushy peas are spiced with garam masala, cooked until tender, and then layered with potato cakes, sev, tomato, onion, and topped off with Bundo’s tamarind chutney. This dish embodies the Bundobust spirit, showcasing the flavours of the North of England and India in a perfect synergy. Curious to witness Rick’s culinary journey? Catch Bundobust on the Yorkshire episode of Rick’s Stein’s Food Stories on Wednesday 28th February at 6:30pm on BBC 2. Fancy watching before then? All episodes are now available for streaming on iPlayer. Tap the link below for our ep! https://lnkd.in/ezQYc2GS
