About us

BOTTLETOP is a British luxury sustainable fashion brand, co-founded by Cameron Saul and Oliver Wayman, and driven by COO Jonathan Lee with the diverse, talented team based in London. We launched BOTTLETOP with a mission to empower people and planet through sustainable design and creative culture. We began with handbags made from upcycled bottle tops in Kenya lined with leather offcuts. Through a collaboration with Mulberry they became international best sellers, supporting artisans and funding health education for young people in Africa. We then discovered the beauty and versatility of upcycled metal ring pulls, and developed our signature chain mail fabric that makes up the BOTTLETOP DNA of today. We now have our own atelier and training programs in Brazil and Nepal and continue to source the finest sustainable and upcycled materials in challenged parts of the world. We continue to support grass roots health, education and skills training projects through our BOTTLETOP FOUNDATION.

From Rio with love 🇧🇷 Photographed by Brazilian photographer Yuri Sardenberg during the high glamour of Rio Carnaval, we wanted to share the real-life stories of a diverse group of women in Rio representing local communities: Compelling women who represent and support their communities in powerful ways. Women who have struggled with inequality to build careers for themselves. Women who are proud and strong. Meet the women of Rio: https://lnkd.in/ebwRPw6W Kaio Guimarães, aka Oiak, is a fashion model and activist for the LGBTQ+ community. Oiak wears our best-selling Bellani family. #BOTTLETOP #ethicalfashion #representation #diversity #inclusion #empowerment

Our mission has always been to empower people and planet through innovative design and creative culture. For that reason, we’re always looking for opportunities to support economically vulnerable women and Indigenous communities through craft with materials that are recyclable, regenerative and as kind to our planet as possible. We are honoured to be part of Holt Renfrew’s H Project, a curation of products from around the world with compelling narratives, support local cultures and communities, have minimal impact on the environment, and positively impact the world. We’ve always been big believers in music's power to unite people. A hugely important part of the BOTTLETOP heritage, music has always been a fundamental part of our DNA. As part of our BOTTLETOP MUSICA series - live music, interviews and eclectic playlists from our much-loved friends and artists - we're excited to bring you our latest B-SIDE playlist from Brazil’s up-and-coming DJ Martha Pinel, whose eccentric energy and fierce femininity has made her one of the people to watch in music and fashion in Brazil. In between her global tour, we were lucky enough to catch up with her to discuss her creative process, influences and inspirations. We asked Martha to share some of her favourite tunes for our latest B-SIDE Spotify playlist. Check out the exclusive playlist and interview below. We hope you enjoy! https://lnkd.in/gd3GemXf #BSIDE ##BSIDEMÚSICA #music #playlist
