The Black Recruiters Network went to RecFest UK! The BRN team stepped out to Recfest this year and what a time we had. Whilst we had been before this year felt different as we saw so many of our community members on stage sharing their gems. 💎 The diverse representation of the speakers this year made all the difference and we couldn’t be prouder to see a lot of them from the BRN community. 🧡 We networked, celebrated, danced, sang, connected and spoke our mission with anyone and everyone. 🙌 Yesterday wasn’t just a networking opportunity for us but it was a chance to show who BRN are and the work we put in to creating a space for recruiters like us to be excellent. Wow, we’ve turned 3! 😱 We’ve been so busy with our planning for the rest of the year we almost missed our 3rd year anniversary. 🧡🧡 Shout out to all our members, followers and the team for making the past 3 years incredible. We’re only going to get bigger and better.

Last weekend the sun held out for us as we celebrated our end of quarter social with a bbq and chill. Our community members really showed out for us with food, fun and impeccable vibes. We got to hear from members who travelled far and wide to chill with us and met our new members in real life too. 🧡“I saw you guys on LinkedIn and knew I had to come.” 🧡“I travelled from Southampton to come to this event.” 🧡”My friend sent me the invite.” Thank you to everyone who came and showed out for us. Last week saw BRN showing up to support our partners Women in Technology World Series: European Women In Tech (EWIT) conference in Amsterdam, NL 👏🏾 A remarkable event with over 4000 people attending and more than 200 speakers from a diverse range of backgrounds in tech 👏🏾👏🏾 The days saw a clear focus on technology, women networking, and the latest developments in the tech industry. It was truly fantastic to witness such a powerhouse of leading women and allies in tech coming together to connect, uplift, and inspire one another. Here are a few key takeaways from the conference: ✨ The Power of Community: The importance of building and nurturing a supportive network cannot be overstated. ✨ Innovation and Diversity: Diverse perspectives drive innovation. The sessions and workshops highlighted how inclusive teams are more creative and better at problem-solving, emphasizing the need for diversity at all levels. ✨ Leadership and Empowerment: Empowering women in tech to take on leadership roles is crucial. ✨ Continuous Learning: The tech landscape is ever-evolving. Staying updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies is essential for growth and success in this dynamic field, especially with the continued rise of AI.
