Coin Street’s 40th anniversary celebrations kicked off with a party yesterday for our valued stakeholders, whose contributions have significantly made a difference for people in Waterloo and North Southwark, and shaped the Coin Street neighbourhood to what it is today. We got together funders, supporters, community members, trustees, MPs, tenants, Young Leaders and more for what turned out to be a wonderful evening - and the rain held off! A special thank you to The Awesome Group for providing the food and drinks, and hosting us at London City Beach, Rambert dancers for a special performance, Florence Eshalomi MP and our group Chairs Hashi Mohamed Leonard Goodrich and David Morgan for speeches, DJ Mr Smooth, the Cosmic Sausages, and last but not least, Coin Street’s over 50s art group for exhibiting their work from across the arts programme funded by Arts Council England 🙌🏽🙌🏽

#Throwback to the Plan It Day Conference in 2016 🎉 Awesome’s production, AV and management team worked with our client, @thedrum, to plan and design the event in a location found within the Old Truman Brewery. The empty large industrial venue was transformed into a unique and adaptable space with a stage, bar, productions booth, 2 break out areas, a cloakroom and an outdoor space. The one day event saw 250 suppliers and clients attend for presentations and discussions and team exercises and hundreds of marketers come together to devise creative solutions to real-world issues.
