A few months ago, #AVEVADay was held in #Milan. We brought together over 300 industrial leaders from all industrial sectors and exploring together how digital transformation maximizes operational excellence in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: decarbonization, electrification, digitalization. There were 19 customer testimonials and 4 exciting industry sessions: Energy, EPC, Life Science & Chemical, and Grids and Networks. Thank you to our wonderful customers, partners and team who attended and participated at the event. We look forward to seeing what new #innovative projects, #sustainable ideas, and #digital successes come forward from this event. Now to the next chapter of our journey at #AVEVAWorld #Paris, 14 to 17 October 2024!

This month the AVEVA Tech Pubs team in Hyderabad, India – including team leader Chris Alford from the Cambridge office – participated in a unique #ActionForGood initiative in support of The Akshaya Patra Foundation's Mid-Day Meal Scheme Program. This mission aims to eradicate children’s hunger so that they won’t be deprived of their basic education. The team all joined together on June 11 at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad to serve nutritious meals to children and people in need. Together they helped prepare and serve the meals, ensuring every individual received adequate food. The initiative supports children’s overall well-being and education through nutrition. In addition, the team gave out stationery items, further supporting the educational needs of children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. “Throughout the event, our team engaged enthusiastically with the beneficiaries, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and empathy,” shared Sanjeev Patra who helped coordinate the initiative. “The success of this initiative would not be possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of our Tech Pubs team members, Shravan, Snigdha, Rachel and our manager, Chris Alford who volunteered their time and effort wholeheartedly.” Learn more about AVEVA’s #ActionForGood initiative: https://bit.ly/4bEO9PU

Disruption and fragmentation continue to be paramount themes for businesses, along with growing concerns on the impact of #climatechange – including extreme weather, rising costs, and new regulations to name a few. In such a challenging business environment, emerging technologies including #digitaltwins, artificial intelligence and eco-system-wide industrial intelligence are equipping industrial leaders to build competitive advantages. Companies like SCG Chemicals are realizing the benefits of #digitaltransformation, having achieved a nearly 100% plant reliability and 9x return on investment in just six months. Our Chief Commercial Officer Sue Quense works with many such organizations, she added: “The convergence of digital innovation, human creativity and environmental consciousness will continue to shape evolution, paving the way for new sustainable opportunities and resilient business models. In this age of disruption, the journey towards #sustainability is not just a necessity but also a remarkable opportunity for growth and innovation.” Read Sue’s full perspective in Machine Design: https://bit.ly/3zCUNJ3
