The AVEVA Sustainability report emphasizes how Driving the sustainable transformation of industry with connected data is tightly attached to our Strategy. "We spark industrial ingenuity by connecting people with information and insights to drive responsible use of the world's resources" Internal innovation Hackatons within AVEVA provide the ability to explore innovations that support our strategy. One of these innovations explored the capabilities to quantify the ESG contributions for an asset strategy . Together with the driving force from Clemens Schönlein, Wouter Boerefijn and David Hoven we explored this innovation and ended up as one of the finalists within the Hackaton. As a result we had the pleasure to see our innovation integrated in our Asset Strategy optimization solution and available today by our product manager Harry Bleiburgh. It is amazing to obtain the opportunity from AVEVA to propose and develop these ideas and get these integrated into our solution offers. I'm fortunate to work at AVEVA where we manage sustainability through our technology handprint, operational footprint, and inclusive culture. This year, I'm committed to improving and most important learning how to reduce my own carbon footprint. AVEVA Accelerates Progress on Decarbonizing Operations, Delivering Software that Advances Net Zero 🚀 AVEVA has met its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions targets for 2025 early and accelerated investment in software solutions that help customers in the UK and beyond to decarbonize. 🚀 The company has achieved four out of 15 ESG goals for 2025, including a 93% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions. 🚀 AVEVA's net-zero commitments have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). 🚀 The company was also recognized by the Financial Times as a Europe Climate Leader. 🚀 AVEVA is also committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellbeing (DEIW), ensuring that 37.2% of new hires in FY23 were women.
