A huge thank you to our employees who helped raise an incredible £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support at our Craigavon Fun Day last month. On receiving the cheque, Joanne Young, Senior Relationship Fundraising Manager at Macmillan, said: “On behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support, I would like to say an enormous thank you to Almac Group for choosing Macmillan as their charity beneficiary of the Fun Day. The amazing £10,000 will make a real difference to real people here in Northern Ireland who are living with cancer.” It was a fantastic day, and we were proud to support this brilliant charity.

We are pleased to announce that our ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications have been successfully recertified by NQA at our Craigavon, Dundalk and Charnwood facilities. Both standards are internationally recognised, with ISO 45001 covering an Occupational Health and Safety (OM&S) management system, while ISO 14001 covers Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Notably, we had no corrective actions identified during the audits. These recertifications underscore our unwavering commitment to these critical areas and play a pivotal role in our sustainability objectives. #Sustainability #HealthAndSafety #EnvironmentalManagement

This June, Almac’s US employees in PA and NC came together to support three fantastic charities by participating in volunteer events. As an organisation, it's part of our mission to strive to take care of our people, protect our planet and make a positive contribution to our communities. We wish to thank all of our employees who gave their time and took the opportunity to make a positive impact in our communities through these initiatives. Watch the video for a recap! Siloed systems can make it difficult to marry data to support timely and informed decision-making and optimise clinical trial operations. And when data is not harmonised between systems, problems can quickly escalate. Read our latest feature in Applied Clinical Trials Magazine by Abby Sener, PMP, Manager of Almac ONE, to learn more on her thoughts in Applied Clinical Trials regarding the argument for Data Alignment and Integration in Clinical Supply Management. Our Charity Shop's Challenge event with Business in the Community Northern Ireland and Cancer Focus NI was a great success! Together, we raised nearly £5,000 for this local charity. Thank you to our dedicated team for their fundraising efforts which included a sponsored walk, bake sale, quiz night and more. We would also like to thank everyone who visited the Lisburn shop and made purchases or donated. Your generosity was greatly appreciated. #CharityShopsChallenge
