Our Charity Shop's Challenge event with Business in the Community Northern Ireland and Cancer Focus NI was a great success! Together, we raised nearly £5,000 for this local charity. Thank you to our dedicated team for their fundraising efforts which included a sponsored walk, bake sale, quiz night and more. This is such a great cause and hits home as I have experience losing somebody sadly to suicide and I often think what would life be like now if this person spoke up. unfortunately he lost his battle with his own mind, but these two legends are driving up and down the country to help raise awareness, and help people feel they can speak up regarding their inner battles. Only 36% of all NHS referrals for psychological therapies are for men. Men are less likely to seek help for their mental health. 52% Would be concerned about taking time off work, whilst 46% would be embarrassed or ashamed to tell their employer. (Men's Health Forum) Suicide Is the leading cause of death for men under the age of 50 in the UK. (Calm Zone) 75% Of deaths by suicide are males, and they are three times more likely to die by suicide than women. I love it when clients apply the Prospect Scores I provide as the results are often spectacular! Just had chance to review a portfolio of a large client that I have been conducting a Bequest Prospect score for the last 3 years. We looked at 1,100 donors that were scored in 2020 that have sadly passed away since. Of these donors just over 5% left a Gift-in-Will Donors that had a score of 10+ were 3 TIMES likely to leave a GiW, whilst those scoring 15+ were almost 7 TIMES more likely to leave a GiW Please let me know if you’d like any help with creating a Bequest Prospect Score.
