    So today Parfest really gets going. We have over 1,00 incredible margin boosting deep dive deals, free food, free giveaways, games and even some celebrity appearances.     In our mission to reach 2,000 fascia stores as part of our Go Local symbol group we are continuing to attract some of the best independent retailers across the UK. Many are retailers with existing stores, looking to maximise the performance of their businesses, taking advantage of our store development expertise, promotional strategy to deliver better value and higher margins plus the support our growing team of RDAs provide daily. But increasingly we are being asked to develop stores from the ground up, developing unused retail spaces, commercial buildings, banks and, in this case, disused restaurants. This 2,240sq m store in Blackpool was a disused Italian restaurant and we worked closely with the retailer to develop a bespoke scheme designed to meet the needs of the local community exactly. As well as, maximising sales and margins. Taking just under 3 weeks to complete the store offers a range of over 2,500 lines across all key categories, an extensive FTG offering including food and drinks, a beer cave and a wide range of in store services. The retailer has also taken advantage of our extensive Go Local Own Label range to offer customers great quality products at incredible prices that also deliver impressive margins. In the first week of trading the store achieved sales over £15k from a standing start and the retailer is working closely with our team to ensure this continues to grow over the coming weeks and months.

    We are in the final days of another hugely successful Big Ticket activation across all our depots, digital channels and Go Local / The Local stores. This time Heineken took advantage of the best activation in wholesale promoting their Cruzcampo brand. With a full depot takeover, including incredible and creative pallet displays, utilising over 200 pallets across the estate, screen and POS comms plus a full OCS desktop and app takeover, digital campaign utilising WhatsApp, Push Notifications and Email. We also activated across our Go Local fascia stores with full RDA support, bespoke POS kits and merchandise giveaways - delivering wider distribution and increased sales across the network. It has been another huge success. Sales have been incredible and we have another really happy supplier partner.     Welcome to another The Local fascia store - taking us ever nearer to our 2,000 store Go Local symbol group total. Liam's store in Hull had been closed for over 5 months and was completely gutted. So our store development team worked closely with the the store owner to redevelop from the ground up. As ever the development was designed around local customer need and to ensure maximum turnover and margin from the available space. The store took £5,000 in it's first week of trading, which increased to £6,000 in the second week and we are working closely with the retailer to continue this growth trend and maximise the performance of the business. Well done to everyone involved.

    What a fantastic way to kick off our Budweiser big ticket event ⚽️ The collaboration with Budweiser to prepare for the Euros and summer of sport started with a head to head football match at the Etihad Stadium. The conditions were tough with torrential rain, and after going 4-1 down we fought hard to finish with a score of 5-4! What a way to bring everyone together to get the ball rolling on our 360 activation. The big ticket is designed to offer a best-in-class execution across all touch points, taking over in depot, online and in our retail stores, reaching all the way through to the end consumer. We may not have won on the day but we’ve certainly brought the trophy home with our incredible big ticket event 🏆 Thank you to everyone at Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I with a special mention of Isabelle S. and James Tod for bringing the vision to life with us.

    What an incredible activation we have for our most recent Big Ticket event with Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I - The official beer of England! Encouraging retailers to stock up in time for a big season of sport! Our incredible depot and operations team have done an incredible job of bringing this vision to life and showcasing what we can achieve when we collaborate with suppliers and give 110%. Everyone should be extremely proud!

    We've welcomed another great retailer into the Go Local family and have completed a full store replan and renovation to ensure the store can meet the needs of the local community for years to come. Our team have totally remodelled the store to offer an improved range to meet consumer needs more effectively, including increasing the number of PMP products and own label to deliver the value that customers demand. We have dropped the tobacco products into lower level drawers, vastly increasing the spirits range that can be stocked and displayed and created a store layout that is designed to increase basket spend and margins. We are confident that the store will follow our usual increase in sales trajectory of between 15-20% when it launches in the next few days. Increased sales through the store and better margins across over 7,000 lines plus access to all Parfetts promotions and our very best prices will deliver these increases. We worked closely with Saj, the retailer at The Point in Digbeth, to ensure the bespoke store development met all his needs and those of his customers. He was aware he needed to modernise the store but didn't receive the advice and support he needed from his existing symbol partner, so on recommendation decided to Partner with Go Local and has never looked back.
