Is your firm ready for DORA?   The EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is the most in-depth regulation to date aimed at strengthening operational resilience amongst financial institutions. It is structured around five pillars, which cover governance, resiliency, incident management and reporting.   I recently wrote a piece for A-Team Group Insight with my colleague David Turmaine looking at the main components of this new legislation, and the key steps that firms such as banks, investment firms and fintechs need to take to build their operational resilience ahead of the January 2025 deadline. 🌍 Como muchos de ustedes saben, la semana pasada tuve el privilegio de visitar Londres para explorar las últimas tendencias en tecnología de mesas de dinero, enfocándome especialmente en la Inteligencia Artificial. El punto principal fue la increíble AI in Capital Markets Summit, organizada por TradingTech Insight, from A-Team Group. La conferencia contó con una impresionante alineación de panelistas, moderadores, presentadores y vendors que discutieron las tendencias, casos de uso, desafíos y regulaciones en torno a esta tecnología transformadora. 🤖 Aquí algunas reflexiones clave, las cuales se detallan más en el artículo adjunto. Sin embargo, la Gen AI aún se considera poco confiable para los exigentes requisitos de la industria. Un ponente hizo una distinción crucial: "Si tu caso de uso es determinístico, no uses Gen AI!" - Exploración e Implementación 🏦: Instituciones financieras como HSBC, JP Morgan, Santander, Lloyds, Man Group y Macquarie están invirtiendo fuertemente en explorar casos de uso de Gen AI.
