Congratulations to Andrew Ng (黄悦德) for being admitted to the Singapore Bar. Andrew is now one of the very small group of barristers at the UK Bar that are also dual qualified in Singapore. This also marks the third jurisdiction in which he is admitted to practice law. A ‘Rising Star’ in the Legal 500 2024 directories, Andrew has experience in a broad range of commercial disputes, with an increasing proportion of his practice involving civil fraud, offshore disputes, international commercial arbitration and international trade. I am delighted and honoured to have been admitted to the Singapore Bar earlier this morning. This marks the third jurisdiction where I am admitted to practise law, and it is particularly meaningful in light of how things have, in time, come full circle. A special thank you goes to KC Lye, my long-time friend and mentor, for offering to move my call, and to those who have supported me through the years in making today possible.
