Tanzania has been my lovely destination for a long time. I adore TZ, regardless of the city I'm going to 😉 As soon as I arrived at Julius Nyerere International Airport, I greeted everyone as though I was landing in Cairo😀. feeling secure and home. You missed a lot if you didn't travel to Tanzania. Why? Highest point in Africa? Tallest free-standing Mountain in the world 🗻Go to Kilimanjaro. Probably the best Safari experiences in the world. Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Ruaha, Lake Manyara, Selous, Mikumi, etc. These are some of the popular national parks and game reserves. Some of these places are breath-takingly beautiful. The turqoise blue waters of Zanzibar. Nungwi beach in particular, attracts a lot of visitors from around the world. The food. Tanzanian food has Arab 😋and Indian influences, which make for some interesting dishes. The culture. Tanzania is home to several nations However, there is a sense of unity and belonging for all different races, ethnicities, tribes, etc. The history. Tanganyika was a German then British colony prior to gaining independence in 1961. Zanzibar was under Omani rule until the revolution in 1964. Both states united to form Tanzania. Zanzibar was a hub for spice trade. Despite the multiple influences, and the potential conflicts that can bring, Tanzania remains a fairly stable and peaceful nation.
