Sharad Pawar criticizes Delhi leaders for their arrogance, stating that recent election results have brought them back to reality
PUNE: NCP (SCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Monday said that power had gone to the head of 'some' leaders in Delhi but Lok Sabha results have brought them back to the ground, reports Anurag Bende.
Pawar claimed that the results in the upcoming assembly poll in Maharashtra will favour MVA.
Pawar was addressing a farmers' rally in Sangli district on Monday. Criticising Prime Minister Modi, Pawar said, "Modi was making baseless statements.
During the campaign, he was confident of winning 400 seats. He kept criticising Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and targeted Rahul Gandhi who is meeting common people to understand their issues. However, the LS poll results brought these leaders in Delhi back on the ground."
Pawar's party fought 10 seats in Maharashtra and won eight of them.
