Program Overview
The demand for psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy is rapidly increasing across Canada, urging the necessity for trained prescribers to support medical access. TheraPsil’s specialized Psilocybin Prescriber Training Program, designed by prescribers for prescribers, is a half-day, online training that equips healthcare professionals to understand the safety and efficacy of psychedelic treatments.
Our training goal is to fully prepare our graduates to safely and effectively apply for psilocybin access for clients under Canada’s Special Access Program (SAP). TheraPsil will then connect trained prescribers with treatment teams of therapists who have completed TheraPsil’s Fundamentals of Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy Training Program so they can work together to best support patients through all aspects of psilocybin treatment.
