Yes to the Address!

As part of the 100 Day Challenge, our community hosted events to bring together landlords with available units and households that are actively working with a housing navigator to identify a unit. These events helped to expedite the housing search process and provided more information to landlords about the benefits of partnership including: filling vacant units, on-going rental assistance, wraparound services and dedicated staff committed to keeping individuals securely housed, and providing a place for a person experiencing homelessness to call home.

Our community continues to seek landlords with available units who are interested in joining our Yes to the Address efforts. Join us!

100 Day Challenge

In the spring of 2024, a dedicated team of frontline staff and experts with lived experience from across the Suburban Cook County homelessness response system embarked on a 100 Day Challenge to address unsheltered homelessness. The team met weekly, set data-informed goals, and identified new strategies and areas of collaboration.

In 100 Days, our team met or exceeded our ambitious goals: 123 individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness moved into housing, 30% of those housed were age 55 or older, and 333 individuals were connected with shelter.
