The Alliance convenes open and regular meetings that bring together direct service providers and community members to work together to collaboratively accomplish the goals of our Strategic Plan.
Point in Time Count
As the leader of the Cook County CoC, the Alliance coordinates the PIT Count for suburban Cook County. During this single night, volunteers canvass the streets in small groups and attempt to count every unsheltered homeless person in suburban Cook County.
