Description

Watch our Experiences in Marine Biology videos beforehand to learn more about the speakers in the panel and their work! Submit any questions you have for them prior to the panel and Q&A using the form below. During the panel and Q&A, the speakers will give an introduction and answer your questions. Near the end of the session, you’ll have another chance to ask new questions or share your thoughts with the speakers. This event is free of charge and anyone is welcome to participate! Sign up any time before 4:00 pm PDT on 9/13. The invitation link will be sent out on the day of the event.

Ms. Emily Miller, a federal fisheries observer for NOAA

Dr. Matthew Edwards, a professor of biology at San Diego State University

Mr. Luke Fisher, a PhD student working with deep sea microbial genetics

Schedule

Each speaker introduces their work for 5 minutes. They will answer questions submitted through the form, and the remaining time will be used for live Q&A.
