Phallah is a Union Council of Abbottabad District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan.

Ethnic Groups

The karaals (Karlal) and Dhund Abbasis are about 50% of its total population[source?]. Other tribes like Awans, Rajput, Khokhars, Moghals are also living side by side with harmony and brotherhood. Students of Phallah used to very famous in surrounding area due to their intelligence. The people of Phallah are well educated and are serving as doctors, engineers, defence forces officers, lawyers and accountants, s well as in several other professions.

Location

Phallah Village is on the Lora Road. The Union Council of Phallah is in the most south-westerly part of Abbottabad District, to the east it is bordered by Haripur District and to the south it borders the Rawalpindi District of Punjab province. Due to its location it is an easily accessible village. Phallah is on the backside of Marghalla hills. Islamabad is 15 km away from Phallah. To the east of Phallah muree is 25 km (16 mi) away.
