The Democratic National Committee (DNC)[1] is a political committee that is a major part of the Democratic Party based in the United States. It is responsible for developing and promoting the party's political platform. The committee also helps assist in fundraising and election strategy. It is also responsible for organizing and running the Democratic National Convention.[2]

Jaime Harrison is the current chairman of the Democratic National Committee, in office since January 2021.[3]
