Conecuh County is a county of the U.S. state of Alabama. Its name is believed to be derived from a Creek Indian term meaning "land of cane." As of the 2020 census, 11,597 people lived there.[1] Its county seat is Evergreen, Alabama.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 853 square miles (2,210 km2), of which 850 square miles (2,200 km2) is land and 2.6 square miles (6.7 km2) (0.3%) is water.[2]
