The role

As part of StarHub’s brand and marketing communications team, this role plays an important part in our customer acquisition and retention strategies, and improving brand love. You must enjoy crafting persuasive communications across various mediums to connect with our new and existing customers and drive them to take action. To succeed in this role, you must be a performance-driven and strong collaborator who can partner with cross-functional teams, have a curiosity for customer insights and be results-oriented.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bringing to life the brand voice: You must be adept at writing different types of copy across various platforms, from website content, in-app push notifications to customer care announcementss, but always with the brand in mind to ensure a unified and effective messaging strategy and consistent brand voice.
  • Email marketing: Write successful email marketing campaigns, from promotional to informative messaging – you can connect with customers and get them to click through.
  • Effective landing pages: Develop landing page content that turn visitors into leads and customers by using catchy text and clear calls to action (CTAs).
  • Strong CTAs: Craft calls to action that are convincing and clear so that users can move on to the next step in their journey with our brand.
  • Content marketing: Create content in both short and long forms, from social media platforms to blog posts, with the goal of engaging and educating potential customers.
  • Test, Learn, Optimise: Propose A/B tests to find the best messages to reach and convince different audiences through their customer lifecycles.
  • Analysis of Responses: Use performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of your copy, and use what you learn to improve future content.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing communication, customer lifecycle management and design teams to make sure that your work fits in with the overall goals and strategies.


Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Knowledge of brand and direct response marketing, previous exposure to self-serve CRM tools will be a plus
  • People focused – believe in building strong working and personal relationships with his/her team members
  • Independent problem solver able to manage multiple projects
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Works well under deadlines and pressure
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic and changing work environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing or Mass Communications
  • 4-6 years of working experience in similar roles
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to write effective direct response copy
